Anyone remotely interested in who’s leading the charge for new wine writing talent should drop everything and Google Andrea Frost. Frost has received a clutch of awards for her writing including the WCA Wine Communicator of the Year, Best Editorial at the Born Digital Awards and several nominations for the Louis Roederer International Wine Writers’ Awards. She’s a popular columnist for Timatkin.com and the World of Fine Wine. Frost has contributed to many wine publications including Gourmet Traveller Wine, Wine Companion and ABC’s ‘delicious’.
Her first book, Through a Sparkling Glass, even earned a Best Wine Publication award, with critics saying “Frost is a talented raconteur covering topics from Bad Vintages and Bubbles through to Varieties and Vintage, skillfully taking us on her magical journey into the world of wine.”
Her freshly poetic and dry-witted style has earned her a huge following amongst a whole new wine audience and we are thrilled she’s able to join us at Pinot 2017.
Having graduated from the exclusive Len Evans Tutorial, she’s also a seasoned international wine show judge and is regularly called upon as an industry commentator. PLUS she’s gorgeous and funny, and a genuinely excellent human, meaning the rest of us are likely to feel woefully inadequate around her.
