Akarua Winery
10 years after the founding of Rimapere in the Marlborough Valley, the country''s leading wine region, Edmond de Rothschild Heritage purchased 34.5 of the best hectares in Akarua, a historic and pioneering vineyard in Central Otago. The vast majority of these 34.5 hectares are in Cairnmuir, ideally placed given its reputation as the holy grail of Bannockburn. Nestled in the foothills of the mountains and amid breathtaking scenery, the land here offers rare balanced conditions which are suited to producing very fine Pinot Noirs. In Māori, the name 'Akarua' means two vines. Pinot Noir and Chardonnay were the two varietals first planted on the estate. They now represent 78.5 % and 2% of the parcels respectively, and a small amount of Pinot Gris and Riesling completes the range.
Akitu
Set in the heart of Central Otago's Upper Clutha basin, our 12 hectare vineyard sits alone at 380 metres above sea level on a stunning north facing slope which hides a special geology. Here we are obsessively dedicated to te production of exceptional Pinot Noir, in fact it's all we grow. We planted 40,000 vines in 2002; we patiently tended them then launched our wine - akitu (which means the apex or highest point) with our 2012 vintage. This is fine wine froma magnificent and unique place - Central Otago at its exceptional best.

Astrolabe
Astrolabe is a family-owned and run winery headed by experienced winemaker Simon Waghorn. Simon founded Astrolabe in 1996, with the first pinot noirproduced from young vines in the Waihopai Valley in 1998. Astrolabe produces a regional blend from sites in the Southern Valleys of the Wairau Valley down to the limestone-rich Kēkerengū Coast as well as single vineyard expressions. Expect a focus on brighter-spectrum fruit flavours, embracing Marlborough's potential for intensity of fruit.
Ata Rangi
In Te Reo Māori, Ata Rangi means "dawn sky" or "new beginning". It is a name that honours our land and reflects the work we do here. Making wine is all about working in sync with the changing seasons and conditions on the land. We strive to craft wines that capture the essence of our place: Martinborough, Aotearoa-New Zealand. We are a small, family-owned organic winery with a reputation for pinot noir, located at the southern end of the North Island.
Ata Rangi was founded by Clive Paton in 1980. The first vines were planted on a small, stony sheep paddock at the edge of the Martinborough Village. Clive's sister Alison bought an adjoining block soon after and in 1986 Clive's partner Phyll Pattie bought a share in the business after moving from Marlborough where she had been working as a winemaker.
45 years on, we continue to work diligently to nurture Ata Rangi's enviable reputation as one of the new world's most respected pinot noir producers. Today, Alison Paton heads up day-to-day running of the business, with Helen Masters crafting the wines aided by the vital stewardship of vinyard manager Ian Ewart.
Auntsfield Estate
Our Pinot Noir is grown on the steep hillsides of AUNTSFIELD – the original site of Marlborough’s first commercial vineyard and winery established in 1893. This historic vineyard has been re-established and now lives on surrounded by native plantings, streams, wetlands and the resulting biodiversity. For 20 years Viticulturist and Winemaker Ben and Luc Cowley have lived on the vineyard amongst the vines with their families; for the brothers it is personal, it is their home, it is their life’s work, and it is as much about the past as it is about the future.
